Steps for Window Well Installation
Step 1: Prepare the Area
Start by clearing out any debris or obstructions around the window area. This includes removing any plants, rocks, or other objects that may hinder the installation process.
Step 2: Measure and Mark
Measure the dimensions of the window well area to determine the size of the well cover or liner needed. Mark the area where the well will be installed using stakes or spray paint.
Step 3: Dig the Hole
Using a shovel or an excavator, dig a hole that matches the dimensions of the marked area. Make sure the hole is deep enough to accommodate the window well and allow for proper drainage.
Step 4: Install the Window Well
Carefully place the window well into the hole, ensuring it is level and properly aligned with the window. Secure the well in place by backfilling the hole with gravel or soil, packing it tightly around the edges for stability.

Step 6: Test and Inspect
Once the installation is complete, test the window well by pouring water into it and checking for proper drainage. Inspect the well and cover/liner for any signs of damage or instability.
Step 7: Backfill and Finish
